Q: Describe the theme of your wedding and how your style influenced the design of your invitations?

A: You can describe my wedding as a classically elegant yet casual affair. I wanted a classic wedding with all the frills and glitz that a bride can have and I think your invitation is the first sight your guests get of what style of wedding you will be having.

Q: Which Cristina Re products did you use to produce your invitations?

A: I used the gorgeous Majestic Pearl design from Cristina’s The Palace D’Amour Collection. I wanted my invitations to look elegant and grand and decided to use the luxury wallets to coordinate with my wedding stationery.

Q: Describe how you met and the marriage proposal.

A: James and I met at a mutual friend's birthday almost 9 years ago. The proposal took place on the Yarra River one beautiful Sunday afternoon. He said: "I have something to ask you… will you marry me"! After 7 and a half years together, of course I said: "YES"! Afterwards he had had organised a romantic evening out and arranged the biggest suite and most beautiful room that the Langham Hotel had on offer. We spent the most wonderful night together.

Q: Describe your wedding day - your memories and highlights of the ceremony and reception.

A: My wedding day was the best day of my life. We were very fortunate as we have a wonderful close relationship with our rabbi, who married us. Our ceremony was very intimate and personal. The room was filled with over 200 of our closest family and friends who had waited so long to see this day come to fruition. Walking down the aisle was the most magical feeling. Seeing my soon-to-be husband standing there waiting for me, holding back the tears, was hard to do at that moment, but my smile was from ear to ear!

The reception was held at Zinc in Federation Square. It was just wonderful and easily the most ideal celebration of our lives. I think the standout highlight of the occasion was our wedding dance. We had a compilation of 8 songs mixed together and surprised our guests with our 4 minute routine. All I can say is that, this is one day I would do all over again and wished it never came to an end!
