PLACE CARDS

You Will Need
– Cristina Re DIY Place Card
– Cristina Re A4 Designer Paper or Reversible Paper
(to print wording on)
– Cristina Re A4 Designer, Reversible or Flocked Paper
(for patterned strip)
– Cristina Re Grosgrain Ribbon in a co-ordinating colour

Tools
- Cristina Re Printstation CD
- Suitable Printer
- Paper Trimmer or Scissors
- Sharp Scissors (for ribbon)

STEP 1:

Using Printstation CD, type your guest’s names into the A4 Layout Template (space names well on page and test on copy paper). Print on Cristina Re Paper of your choice using a suitable printer. Trim to 55mm x 55mm using a paper trimmer or scissors.

STEP 2:

Cut a 35mm x 55mm strip of patterned Designer Paper.

STEP 3:

Attach invitation wording and patterned strip to Place Card using double-sided tape.

STEP 4:

Attach Grosgrain Ribbon to the invitation using double-sided tape and trim with sharp scissors. Embellish with Jewel Paper Fasteners or a Designer Buckle to co-ordinate with your event theme.

Helpful Tips:

	You can use decorative edgers instead of a paper trimmer to trim wording to further embellish your design.
	Co-ordinate your invitations with your table settings and Order of Services Booklets
	Use a border punch to create a decorative strip and fasten this beneath decorative paper strip as an alternative to using ribbon. Click here so see an example of this style in our Gallery.
	When laying out your wording, always trial on copy paper and ensure you have left sufficient space for embellishments.
	You can use decorative edgers instead of a paper trimmer to further embellish your design.
	Use Reversible or designer paper for an extra layer between card and wording layers to add extra detail. Simply cut to size slightly larger than wording layer to allow pattern to be visible.
	Depending on the papers you choose to use, you may wish to vary the width of the strip of decorative paper to suit the pattern. Remember, you may also need to adjust the size of your wording and alignment.

Variations

For a simple variation, simply trim wording and affix to plain DIY Place Card using Paper Fasteners or create a layered effect by cutting another piece of co-ordinating paper slightly larger than wording and affix between wording and place card or perhaps embellish with craft punch cutouts.

Simply thread a Designer Buckle over a piece of Grosgrain Ribbon and fasten using double-sided tape.

Using Grosgrain Ribbon, tie a bow or decorative knot and fasten using double-sided-tape.
