Helpful Tips:

You can use decorative edgers instead of a paper trimmer to further embellish your design.

Co-ordinate your invitations with your table settings and Order of Services booklets.
When laying out your wording, always trial on copy paper and ensure you have left sufficient space for embellishments.
Use Reversible or Designer Paper as an extra layer between card and wording layers to add extra detail. Simply cut to a size that is slightly larger than the wording layer to allow all layers to be visible.

Depending on the patterned paper you choose to use, you may wish to vary the width of the strip of decorative paper to suit the pattern. Remember, you may also need to adjust the size of your wording and alignment.
Variations:

Use a border punch to create a decorative strip and fasten this beneath decorative paper strip as an alternative to using ribbon. Click here so see an example of this style in our Gallery.
